About West Oaks Hospital

West Oaks Hospital in Houston, Texas, provides a full continuum of integrated services to meet the needs of patients suffering from mental illness and/or chemical dependency problems. We are committed to providing quality psychiatric care facilitated by compassionate and skilled staff.

West Oaks Hospital offers the community a broad range of inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services for children, adolescents, and adults. We have a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) that provides a chemical dependency (substance abuse treatment) partial hospital program with boarding level of care. We have a rehab level of care which is covered by Medicare, where the average length of stay is between 14-19 days. This program is a 20-bed unit where we assist patients in securing long term care upon discharge. We also provide Al-Anon and DBSA meetings on a regular basis.

Our physician directed staff of registered nurses, social workers, therapists, mental health technicians, and certified alcohol and drug counselors bring both skill and compassion to each patient’s individualized treatment experience.
