About The Pavilion at Northwest Texas Healthcare System
For more than 40 years, The Pavilion at Northwest Texas Healthcare System has provided mental health treatment to patients coming from Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas and Colorado. The Pavilion provides a safe, therapeutic environment for children, adolescents, adults and senior adults through our inpatient and outpatient services. We have a dedicated Uniformed Services Unit, created specifically for the military and first responders, including police, firefighters and EMTs. In addition, a 28-Day Chemical Dependency Program is offered to those suffering from addiction.
Each person’s treatment is overseen by a team of licensed mental health professionals including psychiatrists, clinical social workers, master’s prepared licensed counselors, certified recreational therapists and psychiatric nurses. Treatment is designed to provide security and structure while simultaneously finding crisis resolution, developing self-awareness, learning coping skills, improving social skills and promoting patient responsibility and autonomy.
The goal of treatment is to teach patients to better manage their emotions, resolve grief over past traumas, express feelings, improve relationships and live their lives with purpose, direction and fulfillment.
