About Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services
Hill Crest Behavioral Health Services is the only free-standing, full-service psychiatric hospital in the Birmingham area. Our campus-like setting provides an active, positive treatment environment for patients and their families. Drawing from a rich tradition in treating psychiatric illness for more than 95 years, Hill Crest remains on the cutting edge of new developments and offers a full continuum of care:

- Sexually-reactive issues (Adolescents)
Our behavioral health hospital serves adolescents and adults suffering from mental illness, emotional problems and behavioral issues. A no-cost assessment is completed by a mental health professional. Admission is based on clinical need.
The medical and administrative staff provides a compassionate attitude while delivering the highest quality of care and service. Hill Crest manages distinct programs in adolescent and adult psychiatry. We offer adolescent residential programs and intensive adolescent therapeutic group homes located in Jefferson County. Hill Crest also provides a 10-month school program allowing continuance of any educational curriculum.
Our comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services provides individual, group, family, occupational and recreational therapies.
