About Gulf Coast Treatment Center

Since 1996, we have been dedicated to providing quality mental health treatment to adolescent females with chronic mental health needs nationwide. Gulf Coast Treatment Center provides comprehensive mental healthcare and education services for at risk female adolescents, families and our community.

Gulf Coast Treatment Center is an intensive inpatient psychiatric program for adolescent females, ages 12-18 old. Our Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Dr. Tanya Theriault, provides intensive residential treatment services to our residents. We offer a highly structured supportive and safe environment for adolescents who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, family and social challenges.

Treatment involves a multi-disciplinary team of clinical staff including a psychiatrist, mental health therapists, a recreational therapist, registered nurses, mental health technicians and certified teachers.

The program is designed to re-establish healthy behaviors while successfully transitioning residents back into the family, home, school and community as soon as possible.
