About Greystone Foster Care
Steeped in a history of caring for children and adolescents in need of out-of-home placement, Greystone has provided foster care and therapeutic services for approximately twenty-five years. Greystone has always been dedicated to recruiting, training and supporting foster parents who are willing to provide a safe environment and therapeutic parenting for children on their journey to permanency.
Greystone provides therapeutic services to children and youth in therapeutic foster homes as well as in the homes of their biological families and/or guardians. Therapeutic services consist of case management, community based and in-home therapy, treatment planning and intensive wrap around services. Greystone collaborates with DCS, community partners and providers to ensure that each child/family is supported in the larger system of care as children and families move toward permanency. Greystone ensures that all staff are trained in the most current effective methods and interventions which will equip them in providing the most impactful therapeutic services.
Greystone employs case managers, therapists and leadership who are dedicated to training and supporting foster/resource parents in implementing evidenced based practices necessary to understanding the individual development, growth and recovery needs of each child/adolescent in their care.
