Responsibilities

This OR RN opportunity is part time, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule.

 

Quail Surgical and Pain Management Center in Reno, Nevada, is an outpatient surgical center dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Established by a group of community physicians, the goals of the founding physicians have not changed since they were established in 1999. These goals focus on:

Position Summary: Provides direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations.  Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.  Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition.  Assists with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.  Participates in performance improvement activities.  Assesses operating room / procedure room  for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.  Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.

Previous experinece in an outpatient PAUC setting or in an acute care setting in the PACU preferred .

Current BLS certification.

Current ACLS certification.
