Responsibilities

Provo Canyon School, a year-round residential small setting private high school, is seeking a SECONDARY CERTIFIED ART TEACHER.  The school is seeking those with experience or a desire to work with emotionally distressed or at risk youth in a small classroom setting.  Our dedicated team strives to change the lives of adolescent boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 by providing compassionate, skills-based care that is personalized to meet each student’s specific needs.  We believe that the foundation for effective, quality care is our experienced and compassionate staff who provide education.  Come join our team!

 

Year-round, full-time, salaried-exempt position:  Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Salary Range:  $54,000 - $74,000 per year based on education & experience

Qualifications

Your Qualifications and Skills will include:

  • Valid Secondary teaching certificate with an Art endorsement REQUIRED
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university REQUIRED
  • Mild to Moderate Special Education endorsement preferred, BUT NOT REQUIRED 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass criminal history background check and drug screen
