Hear from our team
“As an Associate Administrator for UHS, I am met with constant opportunities for learning and development. In this role, I can personally drive change and improvement. I am able to function as an operator within the organization and can still develop the skills I need to take myself to the next level. I have strong support from not only my local mentors (CEO/COO) but I also have the support of the senior leadership for the organization. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I received an email from a Senior Vice President checking to see how things are going for me. I have routine meetings with my Regional Vice President, where the sole purpose is my development.
This is not a traditional development program that is centered on leading projects. I am a functioning member of the hospital’s senior team, responsible for the operations of several departments. I still am assigned some projects but these projects are development minded and meaningful for the organization. The UHS Associate Administrator Program has a goal—that goal is to help develop me into a future leader in the healthcare industry. It has been a wonderful experience thus far and I am looking forward to moving to that next level executive position with the tools gained in this program.”
“As an Associate Administrator with UHS, I have been able to develop the skills needed to become an effective leader in today’s rapidly evolving healthcare industry. UHS has provided opportunities for me to lead and be involved with projects spanning both inpatient and ambulatory strategies. I feel fortunate to work with leaders on a daily basis who have the same drive to improve our healthcare delivery model and reach the highest levels of quality. I chose UHS as a place to enhance my career and feel proud to be a part of this growing organization.”
“My experience as an associate administrator has been fantastic! Not only did UHS partner me with a strong executive team, but they also made sure I received consistent support and education throughout my time here. It is truly wonderful to work for a company that is focused on developing you into a future leader.”
“Hospital Administration is a very challenging, fast-paced profession, but also very fun and rewarding. I chose to join the Universal Health Services Associate Administrator Leadership Program to help further grow and sharpen my leadership skills needed to be successful in this industry. UHS has developed a culture that is committed to investing time and resources to their future leaders through extensive hands-on training, wide exposure to hospital operations and open access to both senior-level executives and past associate administrators to help guide you through the program successfully.”
