Responsibilities

Granite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient centered care for the greater Milwaukee community. With a wide range of treatment for children, adolescents, adults and older adults, our mission is to provide much needed outcome-focused care for those who need it most. Our new 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment modalities and a multi-disciplinary team led by expert medical professionals. The 120 beds are split into 5 groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing.

 

We are looking for looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) 7p-7a, to join our new team! 

 

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care for behavioral health patients ranging from adolescent through geriatric.  The LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing. 

Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a LPN in psychiatric nursing preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Wisconsin required.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment.  Successful completion of CPI training and Service Excellence Training within 90 days of employment.  Certifications may be obtained during new hire orientation.
