Fox Run: The Center for Children and Adolescents, a subsidiary of UHS, is recruiting for a FT LPN for Day Shift (6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.).

Located in St. Clairsville (OH), this 100-bed facility thrives on passionate and dedicated personnel, while incorporating innovative technology and therapies for the betterment of our patients. Responsibilities and Duties

  • LPN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures essential.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as an LPN in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred
  • Currently licensed to practice practical nursing by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
