About Foundations for Home and Community
Foundations for Home and Community, a non-profit organization established in 2000, provides therapeutic/specialized foster care services in Maryland.
Youth served in our program typically have abandonment, family, emotional, and behavioral issues, as well as educational and community-related concerns.
We specialize in providing an innovative approach to working with at-risk youth and their families.
We apply Systems of Care principles to create public/private community partnerships that:
- Build on the strengths of the youth and their families
- Teach life skills to youth and their families
- Help youth and their families to develop alternative coping strategies
- Support cultural diversity
